The Fifth Trumpet
Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit.
Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.
They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.
And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.
They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months.
And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.
Makes me wonder about our near future.

Delaware County Forum
Ok. I started a new forum to replace the archaic one on our PHP Nuke Web Portal. It is the same forums that are used at the Haverford Blog.If you care to post, do so.I could use the publicity to make the Forums a place to visit. Other than that, I'm just tired. Tomorrow I have to go back to Folcroft Vo Tech and install kitchen ovens. They weigh combined 1500 lbs and we need to stack them one on top of the other.
I'll let you know tomorrow how it turned out.

Married three times.. yet no progeny.
Are all those wives just beards for his latent homosexuality.
Me thinks he takes hillbilly heroin to hide the pain of being in the closet.

Delaware County Forum
I've been working all day on this project. I really could use some input. What kind of subjects should I use? Do you like the layout? After reading the Haverford Blog so many times and looking at my now deleted forum page that never got any hits I installed the YaBB BBS. After an hour of setting file permissions, etc. I got it to work somewhat.
So, How about joining it? I don't care where you live, I just need some registered members to make it look classy :)
Cheers. I'm off to bed after 14 hours in front of this damn computer screen.

Rough day today. I had to finish re wiring the cosmetology classroom at Folcroft Vo Tech. 17 direct lines, each at 20 Amps, 120 volt were needed for the students new 1875 watt hair dryers. what I found Monday with the existing wiring was 14 gauge wire, with 4 duplex receptacles wired for each existing circuit, wired by the former electrical teacher's students. There's a storm brewing near Delaware County as I type, and from what I see on TV, It's nasty. Our son is over at Clifton Field, playing Drexel Hill in an exhibition game. imagine that. 11 and 13 year olds having exhibition games! Mike, I'll be over tomorrow sometime tomorrow to take care of those fluorescent lights.
Well, I have to get some dinner now. Hot dogs and Milk.
Cheers.

I just finished putting together a new index page for our web site. I used good old Microshit Front Page 2003 and Notepad. I used layers instead of tables. I still have a long way to go with this CSS thing and html. I like a clean and compact site, like blogger.com provides as is evidenced in this and other blogs. Please tell me how it looks on your computer and include the OS, display size and resolution. Thanks to Erica for letting me use her picture as a background too!

Haverford Blog Heating Up
I read the haverfordblog every day and lately it's turning into a soap opera. Grown Men & Women acting like little kids slinging mud and saying shit about "this one is no good" and such... Cripes, maybe someonme could write a book about it and make some money! Now I realize that the webmasters of the blog have good intentions about it, but it pains me to see it turn into nothing more than a Storm Drain. Good debates are worth reading and interacting with. but what we have here are lawsuits, threats, and just general nastiness. They all abound on the blog. But, hey! I enjoy reading it. Am I sick or what? I don't even live in Haverford but have worked there for over 20 years.Btw, I was in PEABODY'S on Friday. So, Why don't all the concerned bloggers of the Haverford Blog all get together at say the old Iron Gate or hell, WAWA for the teetotallers i.e (teetotal adjective never drinking alcohol or opposed to the drinking of alcohol
teetotaller UK, US USUALLY teetotaler noun {C}and just have some fun!
I just posted this reply to two combatants.

I'll be quite honest with both of you. Both Bush AND Kerry are losers. America is controlled by corporations, lawyers, and our "Friends" abroad. WE are all sheep, who instead of banding TOGETHER, fight and argue over being a Republican or Democrat, Liberal or Conservative,White or Black, Gay or Straight.
I consider myself to be an AMERICAN, one who was revered in the world as being the most generous, outgoing people in the world.
Peace to all you HT'ers.
Ok. Bring it on! No, really guy and gals, lighten up. It's the weekend.
Cheers.
