Google AdSense - A way to retire?

I have been playing around with this now since the fall of last year and have yet to master it. I have read that some people have made over 100 K in 6 months adding their codes to web sites. I personally am at a loss as to how to try and master this. I've put their code on both here, Our Forums and on the Index pages, with limited results. The google adsense code is supposed to read your content, then add relavant ads. I'm betting that they cannot keep up. Here is the "Green Taffy" code, and I'll add some "Adwords" about photography.
"I took a picture of some flowers down at Darby creek In Drexel Hill. I used my Cannon AE-1 and used an F-stop of whatever. My film was ASA 400 Kodak brand."
Now, look above and to the right of this post and tell me what you see. Do you see Camera ads? Or Real Estate ads? To me this is way beyond my coding experience, but to Google, it has made them BILLIONS.. P.S. If your local and want to add your business web site to this site (For Free), just click here and fill in your information. And while your at it, click on every google ad you see. I need a vacation this summer. Better yet, just call us if you need any electrical work done and live in Delco or the surrounding areas. Liz Electric Inc.

A wish nearly fulfilled at St. Cyril's

News of Delaware County EAST LANSDOWNE - The Save Our School (SOS) Committee at Saint Cyril in East Lansdowne is coming down to the wire on the deadline to raise $200,000 to keep the school open next year, but fund-raising efforts are still going full steam ahead. "Everyone's overwhelmed at how successful this has been," Joanne Leonard, a parishioner and committee member said on Monday. "It rekindles your belief in mankind." The committee was formed after the pastor, Father Kearns, said it would take $200,000 by the end of March to keep the school open another year. Sixth -grade student Tommy Geromichalos, who suffers from cystic fibrosis, energized them. Geromichalos wrote a letter to the Make A Wish Foundation asking them to keep the school open. To date $150,000 has been raised. That doesn't include funds that are being tallied from a pizza sale conducted by the parish CYO. Volunteers will spread out over the county this weekend to sell chances on a Dodge Neon that was donated for the fund drive by David Dodge of Glen Mills. Leonard, who formerly worked for the owner David Kelleher, contacted him and asked for a donation to the SOS committee. "He and his wife just had a little baby," Leonard said. "He appreciated the fact he was healthy. He knew with his wife's pregnancy how you worry about every little thing. You worry that the baby will be healthy." In addition Kelleher had the raffle tickets printed up for free and is buying a raffle ticket for everybody who buys a car from the dealership. Volunteers will show the car and sell tickets at the Granite Run Mall from 10 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. They also will be visiting three local parishes to sell the tickets after Saturday and Sunday masses. They will be at Notre Dame Church in Moylan, St. Madeline in Ridley Park and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Morton. Word of the fund drive has spread far beyond the parish borders. "Catholic school children heard about our school and they've taken up collections to help our school children. Our principal Sister Barbara received checks for $165 and $190 from the school children's collections," Leonard said. "It's amazing. We were in the St. Patty's Day Parade in Philly. We were out allowed to walk alongside the car and hand out letters that explained it. One man from Atlantic City said, 'oh, I read this in the Atlantic City Press. He knew the whole story. So many people when they saw the car said right way they knew about us." Tax-deductible donations to the Save Saint Cyril School Fund can be sent to P. O. Box 1094, Lansdowne, PA 19050. Additional information can be found on St. Cyril's Website www.saintcyril.org. "When we come down to the end of March we'll have father give us the official word. We still have other fundraisers planned," she said.

A St Paddy's Day Gift

I found out about an hour ago that my father in law is in surgery at Jefferson. He is undergoing a kidney transplant, him being the recipient. He was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease about 10 years ago. My wife and her sisters and our children also have a chance of having this diease, as it is heredtary. Anyway, I hope things go well. Cheers and watch your six while driving. It's amatuer drunk night.

Ban Section 8 In Upper Darby

Yes, that's right. After reading today's Daily Times article, my opinion is Upper Darby's "Weed and Seed" innovative community revitalization program will not work unless Section 8 housing is totally banned. Section 8 housing first was started by Mayor "Sonny" Kane, back in the late seventies. In a nut shell, the local pols allowed section 8 housing in exchange for some major money. They quickly filled their coffers, and then built a railroad bridge across Market St. My old neighborhood, Stonehurst, quickly became ground zero. People fled in droves, and certain people bought up those homes as investment properties.

You see, the federal government guarantees the home owner rent money regardless of the ability of the renter to pay. So the "section eighter" could just lie around, collect welfare, and spit out another kid every nine months, at your expense. I lived next to one of these women in 1992."Alice", not her real name, was an anorexic blonde who knew how to play the system. She would have her 3 kids (all under 4) run around in dirty diapers and clothes, while she did her drugs and entertained multiple men on a daily basis. The only thing that put an end to her was a raid by the Media Drug Task Force. She went to jail, the kids put in foster homes, and the property owner rented to a renter who paid full price.

In the times article, Mayor F.Raymond Shay cited the 1,100 Section 8 homes he called "problems" in the sector that would be addressed with the funding from Weed and Seed. "they get run down," Shay said. "We try to get them cleaned up -- picking up trash -- it's an environment that breeds crime," noting the township already has a Property and Maintenance Task Force in the targeted zones. Well Mayor, do one better. Picking up these peoples trash won't solve the problem. Ban section eight housing altogether. You’ll see a big difference in the Township.

The Future Of The War Board

Marie DeYoung testifying With the May primary just around the corner, I am wondering what the Republicans in power will do to insure that Republican voters will turn out. Now I realize that in this primary there are few opponents, but things have to be set up for November. On the Democratic side, they have unleashed their big guns, as in Joe Sestak, to unseat the ever popular Curt Weldon. Here's a rundown of the local Dems and what district they represent here in Delaware County. Pennsylvania State House of Representatives District 159 Representative Thaddeus Kirkland District 160 Shawn Diggory District 161 Bryan Lentz District 162 Marilyn Woodman District 163 Marie DeYoung District 164 Casey Roncaglione District 165 Larry Healy District 166 Representative Greg Vitali District 168 Fred Dewey District 185 Representative Bob Donatucci District 191 Representative Ron Waters And here are the Republicans. 160th District Hon. Stephen Barrar 161st District Hon. Thomas P. Gannon 162nd District Hon. Ron Raymond 163rd District Hon. Nicholas A. Micozzie 164th District Hon. Mario J. Civera 165th District Hon. William F. Adolph, Jr. 168th District Hon. Thomas H. Killion Now out of these only two matter to me. The 163 and the 164 Districts. My mother in Upper Darby and myself in Clifton Heights. So who am I voting for? I never heard of Marie DeYoung, So I "googled" her. Impressive to say the least. Former Army Chaplin, whistleblower of Halliburton, Local educator. Here's her web site. http://mariedeyoung.com/ Now in Nick Micozzie's defense I will say that both myself and others have gone to him for help for various issues and he has responded positively. In any case because of the "let's vote ourself a pay increase last summer" come this November I think Nick and the others has their work cut out for them.

Look at this trash, it's such a disgrace, Eating all this garbage and it leaves a bad taste, Well I'm I trashman, I'm so bad and mean. I'm a trashman..I look like a slob! I'm a trashman, but I need my job. There was more to it, but I can't remember it all. Oh well. Cheers.

Bird Flu - Scaredy Cat

You cannot contract the "Bird" flu from another human. Or, even from a bird, Much less a frigging Cat. So why did all these Microbiologists die under suspect causes since 2001? So why am I awake at this hour? I am throwing up. Must be some sort of stomach bug.

Time For A Change In America

Well? Are not you all fed up? Or mis-informed? Raped by other countries, Americans are fast becoming third rate humans on this planet. Forget about your political party, they care NOTHING about you, the individual. Or your family. It's all about the machine, a machine that is out of control. From the local level here in Delco, to the state and national level, We are "dumbed down" so to speak by the MSM. The war on "Terror"? like the war on "Drugs"? Who benefits? I'll answer that. The ones who put the "machine" in place and running. Been that way for over 200 years, with no sign of slowing down. Sleep Tight..
