At first, when I saw this pop up in my news feed, I thought that the same Michael Crook had risen from the depths of anonymity. I was wrong of course, but it had me searching my old e-mails (some go back to the year 2000), and hit the jackpot. Alas, I saved several of them.

To make a long story short, Mikey Boy owned several web sites that mocked our service personnel. He also would put up nasty posts about victims of Drunk Drivers, and when he mentioned a few local girls, I was determined to expose him for the worthless piece of shit that he was.

Julie, here is the email correspondences that I received from I Power concerning Michael Crook and his First DMCA complaint concerning my so called "Copyright" infringement.

authorization.  In particular, it is alleged that you have used a certain
material without authorization by the owner and/or it is alleged that you
may be in possession (without authorization) of certain core code for a web
site. We urge you to contact the complainant to resolve any issues.

As you know, IPOWERWEB's services permit customers to host and make
available content over the Internet. Although IPOWERWEB does not
affirmatively screen customer content, IPOWERWEB does not tolerate
infringing material on its equipment, and may remove content that appears to
infringe any copyright or other intellectual property rights.

As you know, IPOWERWEB has developed terms and conditions which each
customer is to abide by and upon receipt of a Digital Millennium Copyright
Act complaint IPOWERWEB will typically give the customer an opportunity to
respond and/or request removal of the material.  If the customer fails to do
so or ignores the request then IPOWERWEB will be forced deactivate the
account.  However, it will not engage in any battle with or between the
parties.

In that respect, since IPOWERWEB has received a complaint, IPOWERWEB
requests that you remove the infringing content from your web site
immediately.  Any failure to do will continue to disrupt and interfere with
IPOWERWEB's business and pursuant to its policies, it maintains the absolute
right take any action to stop or correct such violation, including, but not
limited to, shutting down a website, denying access to the services or to
the Internet, and/or removing the information.

If you believe the copyright infringement claim has been wrongly filed
against you as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the material,
you may file a counter notification with the undersigned. The counter
notification must provide ALL of the following information:

1. Physical or electronic signature of the subscriber (i.e., merging a
scanned handwritten signature into the electronic text or using public-key
encryption technology);

2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which
access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared
before it was removed or access to it was disabled;

3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good
faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of
mistake or misidentification;

4. The subscribers name, address, telephone number and email address,
and a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the
Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is
located, or if the subscriber's address is outside of the United States, for
any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that
the subscriber will accept service of process from the person who provided
notification or an agent of such person.

We anticipate that you will remove the material and provide a counter notification prior to forcing
IPOWERWEB to deactivate your web site or provide a counter notification.

Your continued conduct and publication of such material directly concerns IPOWERWEB in that your conduct is in direct violation of our terms and conditions.  This is the second such complaint we have received regarding this site.

This is the second complaint we've had to file on this client.
That said, the following entry is in question:

While the user is definately entitled to freedom of speech, it is our
contention that
this entry violates your Acceptable User Policy, Paragraph 4, Section "c",
Subsection "i."
To wit:
Several comments, while not posted by your client, but under his
control/custody, qualify
as potentially criminally and civilly actionable material: 
Bullshit.

- The entry dated 7/11/2005 at 8:57:29pm provides a residential address and
two private telephone numbers.
This information is not provided with our consent.

 Really? How many addresses and phone numbers did YOU post prick?

- On the same day, just below the above referenced post, a user alleges that
Michael Crook fathered a baby with a then-teenage girl.  This is not true, and is therefore actionable under libel.
- The entry on 7/21/2005 again provides residential and telephone
information without our consent.
- The entry on 10/05/2005 again provides residential and telephone
information without our consent.
Therefore, this user continues to violate your Terms of Service, and is
creating actionable materials, which
can result in civil action against himself, and against any and all service
providers who fail to take due action.
We hope that you look into this matter for us.

Bottom line? This asshole for a time made my life miserable, he contacted my web host with a bogus complaint, then on top of that, contacts my clients who in turn demand their ads be taken down. Nowadays, Pussy Boy claims he has several "Mental Illnesses", and supports the Police.

The Great Flood of Upper Darby

On Facebook, we have a group called "Growing up in Upper Darby", where members post entries about how it was to grow up there. In my case, I grew up in the Stonehurst section, on Walnut Park Drive. At the bottom of my street, there is Cobbs Creek Park, and where Naylor's Run Creek emptied into Cobbs Creek.

Naylor's Run was diverted underground in a drainage tunnel back before I was born, As a result, from time to time, Cobbs Creek would back up and the result was the below video.

There is no viable means to stop this from happening again in my book, unless they install flood gates at the tunnel entrance at Beverly Blvd.

The Meaning Of Easter To Me

Today is April 5th, 2015. Easter Sunday. My wife is still sound asleep, and as I sit here I realize that there are no Children coming down the steps, no bacon & eggs cooking in the kitchen, No television on. I hear my neighbors kids next door, arguing about candy and that "Joey" opened up my basket and is eating my candy! No all that I have anymore is Facebook, Twitter, and God knows, sometimes visit my MySpace page to see if it still exists.

 I remember there was a time in my life when Easter was a special day. My Mom, Dad, and Sister would go to Sunday Mass at St. Cyril's in East Lansdowne, and I would check out the girls in their dresses, waiting for the Mass to be over. Afterwards, we would all go to the Fernwood Diner, where I could finally sink my teeth into Bacon. I didn't care that the Vietnam War was going on, the only news I heard about it was from Walter Cronkite and that "We" were bombing Hanoi. My Dad would always remind me about "The Big One", as in World War Two, where he served in the RAF.

No you see, back in the sixties and seventies Easter was to me a joyous time, a time of newness and renewal. I would silently pray to God and ask him to help my family, and to rejoice in Christ's ascension into Heaven.. Nowadays, Jesus and the resurrection have largely been taken out of Easter, replaced by absurd marketing gimmicks, crap that I've never seen before, designed to make parents buy them so their "Kids" are the first on the block to have them.

I never thought I' would be saying it, but damn I miss the good old days.

Chico and the Woman

So let me get this straight. A woman named Susan Senn sees a little Chihuahua chained up on the front lawn of a house in Secane. She gets out of her vehicle, walks up to the dog, unchains him, then takes him to Lansdowne and gives him to a friend.

The cops are called, an investigation is started, the doggy found, and a warrant is issued for her arrest. End of Story? Hardly. Thanks to the comment feature on the Daily Times Web Site, several posters who know the "owner" of Chico have said that the dog is left out 24/7. So what if there is a doghouse, water, and food. A Chihuahua is not a cold weather dog and to chain it? Christ what moron would chain a little cute dog like Chico?

Leaving Chico outside is clearly a case of Animal abuse, and the more I read into it, it's the owner who should be locked up, not Susan Senn. I wonder if the SPCA is looking into this? Is Chico spending the night outside? Will Mike Chitwood hold a news conference and call ms Senn a "Scumbag"? Seriously, there is a web site/ Organization called "Unchain PA Dogs" that is trying to get a law passed in PA that makes it a criminal offence for a person to chain a dog up all day and night.

Seems to me that Chico needs to be set free from his bonds.

I'm no computer wiz

I been trying to move several websites that I manage from one provider to another and i'm running into all sorts of problems. Ipower, our current web host, has gone downhill in my opinion in the past 12 months. Last August, our websites disappeared from the web. I couldn't even log in to our VPS.

I sent a support ticket out to them, and they basically told me that our server had to be "Upgraded" and that it would cost $35.00. Really? After the "upgrade", we lost our mail server.

Tyania Finch - Cop Killer?

It pisses me off that Officer Mark Hudson was "allegedly" murdered by his live in girlfriend, Tyaina Finch.  Not much is being revealed to the public about this case, but to me and the average Joe, She killed him. In cold blood. end of story.

My question: Will she plead temporary insanity? Abuse? Suicide?  According to local court records, Ms.Finch had previously been arrested for retail theft, no instance of violence. Rumor has it that Officer Mark Hudson had recently obtained a PFA against Her.

The bottom line here is that a Good Man with a heart of Gold. A Good Cop. A Volunteer Fireman. A Brother, A Son, had his life ended.

Laughable that Ms.finch initially said that there dog had the gun in it's mouth, and as She attempted to pull it out, it fired and struck Mark.


Really?
