Moving Right Along

I yet again deleted a few posts here. Not because I wanted to, but because I have another blog for that type of release. I will say that I've never saw Internet mob activity at it's finest. Keep up the good work, both of you. Cheers. Bunny Shop Free Shipping

Martin Luther King Tribute From My Friend David

Yeah I have a diverse field of friends too. My friend from You Tube sent me the below video. I have something to add below - Some of you may know what I'm talking about. To you stuffy racist "anonymous" people who have a problem with my views both here and over at the increasing liberal Democratic (What a joke, you censor me to no end as of late Haverford Blog) - either email me, or call me.. Or haven't you got the guts to face me one on one? What a joke! While I'm at it.. To my sister Kathy. Loose lips ship sinks.. Or in your case, get you fired and possibly put behind bars. Better think twice about how you respond to people and treat them in this age of computers, texting, e-mails, caller ID.. You get it? I got it all. Cheers.

Big News

It was fantastic experience running for the PA Legislature. I'm off on a new adventure. I'd like to thank all those who helped and supported me at the ballot box during the campaign, I'll never forget you. My new adventure is serving our Country in the U.S. Military. I've been asked not to divulge the details of my assignmnet by my superiors. Nevertheless, I've never been prouder, and can't think of anything more important to do with my life. Casey Roncaglione

Play It Again Gil

Sorry Gil, James Kirchick is a shill for you know who. I cannot say here because I don't want to be labeled a Anti Semitic, Racist, Bigoted, Homophobic "Angry White Man!" FYI - A little tidbit of information about Mr. Kirchick.
"James Kirchick is an assistant editor of The New Republic, a columnist for the Washington Examiner, and a frequent contributor to the Los Angeles Times. He has worked as a reporter for the New York Daily News, the New York Sun and The Hill and has written for magazines including The Advocate, The Weekly Standard, The Boston Globe Magazine and Doublethink. His writing has appeared in The Wall Street Journal Europe, the International Herald Tribune, The Jerusalem Post, USA Today, The Boston Herald, The National Post of Canada and other publications. "
He is the recipient of the 2006 National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association Excellence in Student Journalism award and was the organization's 2007 Journalist of the Year. http://www.indegayforum.org/staff/show/98.html In other words.. A liberal Gay advocate who is pro Israel, Pro Nation building, Pro Homosexual Rights, Anti Consertative (look up the true definition of the word) journalist tries to pull a swift boat on Ron Paul? Judging from the first of over 1200 replies to Kirchicks slanderous diatribe, I'd say the cat is out of the bag. Did I forget to tell you I'm also a "Republican"? Vote Ron Paul - Hope for all America!

Recycling Upgrade in Upper Darby?

I am not a big poster to this blog; in fact, this is my first ever post here, although you may have seen me listed as a contributor. Finally, I feel like I have something to blog about with regard to local happenings! I live in Upper Darby, and long have I lamented the Township's rather pathetic recycling program. It was a shock to me when I first moved here to discover that glass isn't picked up for recycling, and I grew to loathe making the trip out to Havertown or Barclay Square to dump my glass. I also despise having to drive out to Primos to recycle my plastic. I had high hopes for Janice Oakey's bid for mayor, thinking that she would be forward-thinking enough to revamp the recycling program, but we know how that turned out (wipes tear from eye). And now, some of my fellow citizens have gotten together and petitioned the Township to improve the program (thank god, because I've been meaning to write that letter to the council for going on five years!). Dave Schwartz and Barbarann Keffer have put together a petition that YOU can sign, if you live in Upper Darby and want a better recycling program. Just hop on over to http://www.petitiononline.com/udtssr/petition.html and type in your name and address. If you're married, have your spouse do it, too. No junk email will come to you as a result of signing, and you can even choose to leave your email private, even from the petition authors. If you prefer to sign in person, that can be arranged, too. Here is an op-ed piece submitted by Ms. Keffer in the News of Delaware County last month that contains the full argument and information. She also submitted the same piece to Towntalknews.com. Now go sign the petition to upgrade our recycling program!

Bowling With Friends of Sean Cawley

I was on my way home when I decided to stop at Johnny B's, the former O'Donnell's bar on Garrett Rd. in Drexel Hill. While in there, I spotted a flyer tacked up on the wall about a guy named Sean Cawley and how they were having some benefit bowling thing for him. Well I found out that he met an untimely death in 2002, and that his family and friends launched an orginazation in his honor. As a former alumni of Bonner, I just had to make this post. I had great times in Bonner - (J-U-G) or better known as "Justice Under God" was my favourite past time LOL. From Monsignor Bonner's web site: Friends of Sean Cawley Friends of Sean Cawley is a benevolent, charitable organization established in the honor and the memory of Sean Cawley. Sean Cawley graduated from St. Laurence in 1986 and Monsignor Bonner in 1990. Upon his untimely death in 2002, some close friends and family members created this group to help members of the community in ways in which Sean would have been proud. Most years, the Friends of Sean Cawley hopes to give a grant to a student to attend Monsignor Bonner. In 2004 and 2005, the organization granted a St. Laurence student a four-year scholarship to Monsignor Bonner. More information about the organization can be found at http://www.friendsofseancawley.com A flyer about Robert Staffieri was the other one I noticed. Both men went to Bonner, both met an untimely death, and both are remembered well enough by countless friends and family that still after a few years, people still care. I do not know these people not their families, but I do believe that these two guys must have been fun to be around, and the kind of person to give you the shirt off of their back, even if you really didn't need it. Here are the details, coming up real soon so give it a passing thought! When: January 26, 2008 Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Price: $45.00 (includes bowling lanes and rentals, pizza, snacks, beverages, and beer) Where: Wynnewood Lanes Call 484-614-6198 or 610-909-6187 for tickets. P.s. You can even take the P&W there, as I used to do from 69th street. Cheers.

Why the Delco GOP Should Endorse Ron Paul - Pt. 1

I had a post here but it seems that Blogger dot com dosen't like me posting anything positive about RON PAUL. Let's just say that the GOP in Delaware County should take a hard look at who they have to endorse for President. Mike Huckabee Mitt Romney Fred Thompson John McCain Ron Paul Rudy Giuliani Duncan Hunter Only Dr.Paul will stand up for all Americans. A Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record: (From the Ron Paul web site) He has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year. The others?

Soraia

Happy New Year! I've been controlling my self from posting my opinions on world issues , namely politics, and felt the NEED to tell you all about a local band that although I've never seen preform in person (yet), they really get me rocking. Their name is Soraia, the band consists of from their web site - Dave Justo (lead guitar), Travis Smith (bass guitar), Sue Mansour (vocals, tambo), Joe Armstrong (drums), and Joe Francia (rhythm guitar)... They have a new CD out called Shed The Skin. A bit different from Recipe For Disaster, but the mix of Joplin like, sixties - seventies gritty music combined with Susan's hard core yet subtle? vixen voice makes for a decent sound. They rock! - No offense Howard. Anyway, I plan to see them at Tom n Jerry's in Milmont Park (I call it Ridley) on the 17th of January. Cheers and stay safe.
