Just A Reminder

Yuo know I've been sick lately battling COPD and in need of a lung transplant, so I have not been up to posting much anywhere, but THIS shit caught my attention, after being at the Wawa at Bishop & Baltimore and looking at bare shelves. Never in my 60 years on this planet have seen this.

Joe Biden in my opinion stole the Presidency. Well, not him, he's too damn stupid, but a well orchestrated attack involving the CCP or whomever in multiple states including right here in Delaware County, had who I believe as our duly elected President, tossed out and Joe the clown inserted. So tell me, where is the Chain of custody here Democrats of Delaware County?

Will this happen here in Delco?

New Social Networking Platforms for 2020

Here's a quick post of some new Social Networking platforms that I am using to have my political views seen. I also have this Blog, although it's like a dinosaur, but believe it or not, gets attention from certain local "Political Groups" enough to complain to google. It's called the 1st Amendment. You know, the one that you want to take away from republicans or any conservatives people?

Here are the un biased platforms.

Delco Dems and Censorship in Delaware County

It's been awhile since I posted anything "political" here, but this is a reminder to ALL Delconians of just what the Delaware County Democratic Party is all about. If you do not agree with them, especially if your a Republican or Conservative or even have no real political affiliation, they WILL censor you on their Facebook Page and God knows what else. A little backstory on this that leads me to believe why they blocked me. I was informed by Google last October, before the November elections, that someone put in a "complaint" about this blog, that it was biased towards Democrats.

Google just let me know through my blogger interface, where I have a few blogs dating back to 2002. I dug a little deeper and found that it was a specific page that since been mysteriously deleted.

Fast forward until yesterday. I'm having my usual dose of the Coronavirus pandemic, how some feel that it's fake, overblown, our freedom is gone, etc, etc. So it led me to the "Official" Facebook Page of the Delaware County Democratic Party, called the Delco Dems. It's was created in July of 2009.

I was logged in on facebook under my "Franny Ward" account, one that I've had since 2007 when I clicked on the link to read through and then reply to a few posts. Here I am BLOCKED from replying or posting anything on any post. Ok I thought. I'm not a member or anything, then I realize it's a Page, not a Group. There is no "Membership" required.

Funny thing is? I never posted anything there ever. So just WHO's feather's did i rattle? guess I will have to go through every post on this blog and try to connect the dots.
Here is a screenshot from my Franny Ward account.

And here is one from my "other" account.

For them to block me like this just reinforces my distrust of local Democrats in general. and we won't even get into the George Soro's "Affair" with them here locally, one where they magically swept Delco up in their "Blue wave". One where they took County Council, The DA's office, and a shitload of local representatives from the Republicans.

Stopping The Madness

After the most recent horrific school shooting in Florida, it seems that everyone has an answer as what to do to keep something like it from happening again. This columnist, a former resident of Springfield, has the same old answer. More restrictions.

But Her's are what I would consider to be a direct "assault" on our constitutional rights. In the article, Ms Shaffer wants all gun owners to have a "Gun License", to purchase guns, ammo, even accessories. Her reasoning is, if someone buys a large amount of ammunition in a short time, a "red flag" would come up, alerting the authorities. That alone is an invasion of privacy. Imagine getting into your car, and detectors go off, alerting the "authorities" that you have been drinking. Not enough to be legally intoxicated, but enough for a "red flag" to go up.

And all this information was fed into databases, then shared with others. Next thing your insurance company drops you, your health care provider demands you go to an alcohol rehabilitation, and your neighbors find out. I know, seriously far fetched, right?  Well, actually, Ms. Shaffer's ideas are quite in line, only with guns, not booze.

Madness indeed.

The Future of the Delaware County GOP

With the May Primary fast approaching, I am curious to see how our local Republican candidates fare. The Republican candidates are as follows:

For Governor:
Samuel E. Rohrer
Tom Corbett

For Lieutanant Governor:
Steve Johnson
Jean Craige Pepper
Russ Diamond
Chet Beiler
Stephen A. Urban
Daryl Metcalfe
John Kennedy
Billy McCue

United States Senator:
Pat Toomey
K. Peg Luksik

US Representative; (District 7)
Patrick Meehan

State Representative; (District 163)
Nicholas A. Micozzie

Corbett, Toomey, Meehan, and Micozzie I can relate to and am voting for. As far as the Democrats, who knows and who cares? If the Democrats gain control of Delaware County, specifically Upper Darby, you can bet that the township will be annexed into the City of Philadelphia. Don't believe me? Well look it up. The city has swallowed townships like Northern Liberties, Bristol Township, Roxbourough Township, Delaware Township and many more here.

Imagine losing their Police and Fire Departments, Departments of Sanitation, Public Works, and the School District. If you think the township has gone to the dogs now, just wait until November. My advice? Vote Straight Republican in November!

Change Or Chains?

Seems that our newly selected President has a new web site. I find it appalling that he wants to require all Children that are in Middle and High School to do 50 hours of Community Service, you know, like what we have here in Delco for "minor crime" offenders? Don't believe me? Read on: America Serves "When you choose to serve -- whether it's your nation, your community or simply your neighborhood -- you are connected to that fundamental American ideal that we want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness not just for ourselves, but for all Americans. That's why it's called the American dream." The Obama Administration will call on Americans to serve in order to meet the nation’s challenges. President-Elect Obama will expand national service programs like AmeriCorps and Peace Corps and will create a new Classroom Corps to help teachers in underserved schools, as well as a new Health Corps, Clean Energy Corps, and Veterans Corps. Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start. If I remember my history right, didn't Hitler start his "Hitler Youth Movement" in the same fashion, by rewarding those who "serve their community"? And to think I was all in a bunch when I heard that Bush wanted all children to have mental health screenings.. Cheers.

Damming Video?

Got this from Gil Spencer's blog a few minutes ago. I had posted about Hussein's involvement last week over at the Haverford Blog. I really don't trust Obama, and to be honest with you think that McCain will start WW3 and reinstate the draft if elected. My Sons and Daughters are not going to be used as cannon fodder for some silver spoon fed out of touch man who feels that war is the answer. My choice is Republican Ron Paul. I will write him in at the voting booth come November. Thousands upon thousands of fellow Americans will also. Will he get elected? Not a chance. But at least I will show them where I stand. Cheers.

Dems in Delco - Time to Change Your Party

If you really want change in America, you"ll change your party affiliation to Republican and vote for Ron Paul in the April 22nd Primary. Hillary and Obama have no chance to become President. That leaves Ron Paul, a true consertative that is for All Americans. The MSM is against Paul because they and their handlers fear him. That is why Ron Paul is scarely mentioned on TV and the Newspapers. From Ron Paul's Web Site: In Pennsylvania, only registered Republican voters can vote for Ron Paul in the April 22, 2008 primary, or sign and circulate petitions to place Ron Paul and Ron Paul GOP convention delegate candidates on the ballot. Petitioning begins January 22, 2008 and ends February 12, 2008. If you are not already a registered Republican, we need you to register Republican as soon as possible. It’s easy: Download, print and fill out this form and mail it to your County Voter Registration Office (addresses on the back). Important: after you send in this form, make sure you get confirmation back from your local Voter Registration Office, that you have been registered as a Republican. Cheers.

Vote Katie Leonard for Upper Darby School Board

Yes I went through this before. But this time I am really sure of this young woman in her dedication to Upper Darby residents and students, (Morso that I can say about the others who I've taken the time to research,) I am Sure in the fact that she is sincere and really wants to serve both the taxpayers, parents, and students of Upper Darby School District. I first got wind of Katie on My Space, a (Social networking web site for you newbies) and was impressed after reading her profile and visiting her web site - voteforkatie.org. So, as a unabashed favor to Katie, I endorse her for Upper Darby School Board, and hope you will too. Come election day, it will take the average voter in Delaware County once at the polls 15 minutes of their precious life to speak out on what they really really want to change or stay the same in their neighborhood! To be quite honest with you I don't know who is running for the job, other than Katie. That is why I am voting for her. From Her My Space: I am running to serve our school board and would appreciate your support.I have lived nearly my entire life in Drexel Hill and had the privilege of attending Garrettford, Drexel Hill, and Upper Darby before graduating in 2001. Since then, I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and am now attending Temple Law School and West Chester University, where I am working towards teaching certification in English and social studies. While I take immense pride in the education and opportunities Upper Darby schools presented me with, many people have become increasingly critical of the system. It is for that reason I am seeking your vote this primary season. I get frustrated hearing people make negative generalizations about the very schools I attended not too long ago. Of course our schools have some problems. But every district has its own set of problems. The answer is Read more here... Bottom line is forget that you maybe do not agree with me or like me for that matter.. Do use what our forefathers gave you and give a damn on how both your money is spent and your children are taught in Upper Darby Township! Election Day is November 6, 2007 - Polls open at 8:00 AM! Find time to grow some and feel good afterwards! VOTE! P.S. Penn Delco? Too bad Katie isn't vieing for a spot on your board.. She would clean house with all your corruption!

The SCHIP Dilemma - Are Your Children Worth it?

I've been closely following this bill to increase funding for low to middle income families who cannot afford health care for their kids. President Bush vetoed the bill, urging congress to give him yet more money for his "nation building" regime in the Middle East. Well how did our reps in Pennsylvania vote? Democrats - Altmire, Y; Brady, Y; Carney, Y; Doyle, Y; Fattah, Y; Holden, Y; Kanjorski, Y; Murphy, Patrick, Y; Murtha, Y; Schwartz, Y; Sestak, Y. Republicans -Dent, Y; English, Y; Gerlach, Y; Murphy, Tim, Y; Peterson, N; Pitts, N; Platts, Y; Shuster, N. To those "Republicans", Peterson, Pitts and Shuster, you should be ashamed. As Jane Hamsher points out here, people need to be motivated to do something about their so called elected officials when it comes to such a needed service. Please don't tell me it's socialized health care either. America is dead last in health care for the people, while doctors, insurance companies and lawyers get fat with money. How much do they (lobbyist) contribute to these elected officials who all tout that they are for the people again? I have a question for all who are running for office here in Pennsylvania this November: How would you have voted for the SCHIP bill? P.s. Michele Malkin? You ought to be ashamed of yourself!

Clifton Heights Democratic Party

dosen't look like no donkey to me.. I received a flyer from them today in my door. Not knowing anything about them, other than Katie Leonard, my "My Space" buddy, I found that their web site is rather navigable, as in all links seem to work, etc. My only problem is that on the flyer, it says:
Vote Straight Democrat.
I have never voted a straight party ticket in all of the years I have voted. I research the candidate, weigh their contributions to the community, then see what they have to offer me, the voter. Bob Penjuke is my current committeeman here in Clifton Heights. He took over the post after his wife passed away. As my committeeman, (and neighbor down the street) has addressed every issue that I have brought to him, as did his wife Pat. So to see various Democrats like Kevin Parsons state: " After watching the town go down hill he decided to run for council, and that it is time for a change." statement kind of took me by surprise.
What went downhill? Sure the whole county is being affected by druggies and kids with guns (I blame parents and MTV for it, if not the lax social services) but Clifton Heights as a whole is a decent town, with the Clifton Rams and the PAL and the best Fourth of July fireworks on the east coast as all positives! Here's how someone like myself can be swayed to vote for them. Mary McStravog, running for the fourth ward states:
"Mary is dedicated to improving the quality of life for the children of Clifton Heights by addressing recreational needs, especially for the teenage population lack of services our children are receiving in Special Education by working with Upper Darby School Board. Mary is focused and passionate about meeting the needs of families in Clifton Heights, serving the elderly, single parents, for those that are struggling with various issues."
The key words are "Quality of life for the children". That is what matters to me. See, the way I was brought up (Catholic school where the evil nuns solved your ADHD with a ruler) was that us as kids had fun growing up. We also had responsibilities, in which if we did not keep, were met with an iron fist, not kid gloves and Ritalin. There's more to it than running a campaign where you can find faults in your opponent (Well, maybe I'm wrong, look at rove vs. McCain in 2000), than to really come out and tell it like it is, what you can do to change your area in a positive light.
P.S. Your donkey looks like a Hyena :)
needs a paint job
P.S.S. This sign needs a fresh coat of paint.

David Landau - A One Trick Pony?

I've been interested in the up coming election for Delaware County Council in November now for a few months, thanks to David Landau moving into my town of Clifton Heights. I have visited both parties web sites, and although both talk a good talk, Fizzano Cannon, McGarrigle, and Lewis of Delco 2007 have EXPERIENCE and have served Delco well according to my observations, abit some issues that I'll describe below.

Wasteful Spending: To David: Why spend how many thousands of dollars to rent a campaign HQ here in Clifton? That is wasteful spending. Myself and other people residing in the "Blue Collar" section of Delaware County are quite content with the way things are running, and do not want to see Delco be consumed by Philadelphia, like it did to Mayfair, Roxborough, and the greater northeast, an agenda that you Democrats have been trying to do for decades!

Response to your Problem: I asked Nick Micozzie to look into a matter concerning a neighbor, and he responded. So did his Son and also Tom Judge, all Republicans serving Delco. They actually responded to me, so I in turn feel that they are worthy of being elected. That's what gets people elected. To be fair to you, your spokesman, George Matysik, has responded to me via email in a positive way, and insists that you are sincere in your ambition to serve us.

Cronyism: There is one issue that David brought forth, that has me interested. "The one trick pony issue" mentioned as the title to this post that has me interested in him. It's called Cronyism. I know of several people who own companies who have a lock on contracts in the county and have had for years, and why they do is not a secret anymore. Unfortunately, this issue is a non issue, as most voters in Delaware County are not self employed, and couldn't give it another thought. Another thing is the issue of Upper Darby, once a decent place to live, now turned into an extension of West Philadelphia. David, what would you be willing to do to resolve this?

Number ONE Problem: What I want County Council to do is to BAN Section 8 housing in Delaware County. Period. Scumbags who play the system represent over 95 percent of the applicants. Our so called "Tax Dollars" fund these people, while people like myself, pay top dollar to live in the area, not to mention NO HEALTH CARE. These are MY issues, and many other voters who will decide the outcome in November. Enough of ranting tonight, I need to find some work to do tomorrow as a self employed electrician so I can pay my bills. Cheers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Links to the candidates for Delaware County County Council: David Landau Just kidding, here's the real link to David's web site.. 10/8/2007 - *NEW* Ann O'Keefe for Delaware County County Council! Andy Lewis, Tom McGarrigle, Christine Fizanno Cannon Here's a blog that has a world of opinions on the above issue. The Haverford Blog Any other canidates running for County Council, etc, come this November please e mail me and I'll be most happy to add your link tho this post!
